Family owned and operated since 1963.
1963
The first year of business.
Dave Wittrock started Wood Interiors Company from his father’s basement in 1963. One year later, he hired his first full time employees, moved into a 6,000 square foot facility, and began producing fine, hand crafted woodwork for residential homes. As the demand for quality woodwork increased, he moved his operation into a larger 10,000 sq. ft. facility, and incorporated as Wittrock Woodworking Co., Inc.
1972
Expanding the company.
In 1972, Dave purchased the Portman Circular Stair Company, which steered him into commercial architectural millwork. Working with qualified architects, designers and contractors, Wittrock has acquired many highly skilled employees to establish a respected and renowned company.
